Polly McLean specializes in real estate, land use, association, contract and municipal law. Polly McLean was an Assistant City Attorney for thirteen and a half years at Park City Municipal and has on-the-ground knowledge of how the Planning, Building and Engineering departments work. She is an expert in development entitlements, zoning, administrative appeals, subdivisions and State and local Land Use Codes. She was involved in drafting key parts of the Park City Land Management Code, and the Municipal Code. She knows municipal processes inside and out. Polly McLean successfully litigated numerous land use matters before the Utah District Court, Utah Court of Appeals and Utah Supreme Court. Polly McLean represents developers, home owners, and municipalities.
With over 23 years of legal experience, Polly has earned her reputation as an effective, highly skilled and pragmatic attorney. Polly McLean has extensive experience drafting and reviewing all types of agreements including Development Agreements, Easements, Leases, Interlocal Agreements and Real Estate Purchase Contracts. Polly has in depth knowledge of legal matters in Park City, Summit County and Wasatch Counties.
Polly is a two-time Ivy League graduate receiving her J.D. from Cornell Law School and her B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania. Before working in municipal law, Polly McLean was a felony prosecutor for the Criminal Division of the Utah Attorney General’s Office and the Trial Division of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. She clerked for Judge James Z. Davis on the Utah Court of Appeals. She is a member in good standing of the Utah and New York bar associations.
